Patt 37 webbing loop. The design goes back to a 1911 Patent, consisting of a body in 1 1/2-inch wide webbing, doubled and stitched to provide Stores Ref. ’37 shown here is the late war style with the addition of a button hole in the upper loop to accommodate the smaller stud of the spike bayonet.
